Sushki

Sushki are a traditional small, sweet, ring-shaped Russian cookie. They are typically eaten at tea time. In the old days, travelers and merchants would put the sushki on a string and snack on them.

Sushki are made with a simple egg, flour, and water mixture. They are then boiled and baked.

The name sushki comes from the Russian word sushit, to dry, so one should be warned that the little cookies can be rock-hard to bite in to.
